MER Clinic: Modeling an Agricultural Railroad

Presented by Lee Rainey @ NMRA National, Hartford, CT, 2009

The Wiscasset, Waterville & Farmington was a Maine two-footer that hauled grain, cream, potatoes and other agricultural commodities from a long-settled agricultural region to the seacoast. The clinic shows how to use a variety of on-line resources to reconstruct the look of the early-1900s countryside along the line, and then examines the methods used to recreate this setting on the FreeMo layout of The Sn2 Crew.
